Refund and Returns Policy

At Mr Filtration, we are committed to providing high-quality water purification solutions. Our policy is designed to be fair to our customers while complying with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Change of Mind Returns

We understand that plans can change. We offer a 30-day return policy for change of mind, subject to the following conditions:

  • Condition: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original, undamaged packaging.
  • Hygiene Seal: Because our products deal with drinking water, we cannot accept returns for any filter cartridges where the plastic sanitary seal has been broken or water has been passed through the unit.
  • Shipping: Change of mind return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee may apply to cover inspection and repackaging.

2. Faulty or Damaged Goods

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.

  • Damaged on Arrival: If your item arrives damaged, please take photos and contact us at mrflow.water@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Performance Issues: If you believe your filter is not performing to the specified MOF or German technology standards, please contact us for a technical review. If the product is found to be defective, we will provide a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.

3. Subscription Cancellations

  • No Lock-in: You may pause or cancel your filter subscription at any time via your account portal.
  • Notice: Cancellation must be made at least 3 business days before your next scheduled shipment to avoid being charged for that cycle.
  • Refunds: Once a subscription order has been processed and shipped, it is treated as a standard purchase (see Section 1).

4. Installation Services (Perth Only)

  • Cancellations: If you have booked a "Subscribe + Install" service, please provide 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule.
  • Service Quality: If you are unsatisfied with the professional installation, we will return to rectify the issue at no additional charge. Installation fees are generally non-refundable once the service has been completed.

5. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method (Stripe, PayPal, or Afterpay) within 5–7 business days.
  • Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are eligible for exchange or store credit only, unless they are faulty.

6. How to Initiate a Return

Please do not send items back to the manufacturer. To start a return:

  1. Email mrflow.water@gmail.com with your Order Number and reason for return.
  2. We will provide you with the correct Perth return address.
